ProSound Alpha 10
The ProSound Alpha 10 comes with a compound transmitter that makes transmission waveforms programmable. The arbitrarily designed ultrasound waveform and improved transmission/reception delay control, which is 4 to 8 times more accurate than that of conventional systems, suppresses the emission of unnecessary sounds in both frequency and space, thus creating a high-resolution ultrasound beam with less side lobe. The center frequency and bandwidth are controlled for pure ultrasound transmission, while the reception signal is controlled at an accuracy of 3.125 nsec and processed into 4096 levels. The result is a high-sensitivity, high-resolution abdominal image, whether it be fundamental or tissue harmonic. The combination with HST probes improves clarity and penetration of harmonic echo (Definitive Tissue Harmonic Echo). 		image
